The Brain Health Study.

I am taking 10 people into a case study in brain health, stress resilience and longevity, on London's Harley Street. Six sessions of targeted brain stimulation, wrapped in the measurement I build everything on: biological age, cortisol rhythm, memory testing and your own wearable data. Below is the whole path, step by step, from the email you send me to the day I sit down and read your results with you.

Too many tabs open. In your brain.

This study is for people who are functioning, achieving, getting through the day. From the outside you look capable and in control. Inside, you are not as sharp, regulated or responsive as you would like to be. The focus dips. The patience runs thin. The sleep does not restore you. Your tests would probably come back normal. That gap between how you look and how you actually feel is exactly what I want to measure.

This may be for you if.

Read these slowly. If you feel seen by three or more of them, you are exactly who I designed this study for.

The thinking
  • ✓You feel mentally overloaded, as if you have too many tabs open in your brain.
  • ✓You are still achieving, yet your clarity, creativity or decision-making feel less sharp.
  • ✓You are noticing brain fog, low motivation, poor concentration or reduced focus.
The stress and the sleep
  • ✓You wake up tired, even after a reasonable night's sleep.
  • ✓Your Oura, Whoop, Apple or similar wearable data shows low HRV, poor recovery or disrupted sleep.
  • ✓Your stress feels harder to switch off, even when the stressful moment has passed.
  • ✓You feel more emotionally reactive, less patient or more easily overwhelmed.
The transition
  • ✓You are navigating hormonal change, including perimenopause or menopause, and want a more data-led approach.
  • ✓You are recovering from a period of intense stress, poor sleep, illness, burnout or major life load.
  • ✓You are working on weight optimisation and want to understand the brain, stress and behaviour side of appetite, cravings and control.
  • ✓You are using, considering, reducing or stopping GLP-1 medication and want to track the wider metabolic and physiological picture.

What is Brain Stimulation?

Exomind is a non-invasive brain stimulation device, designed to support cognitive and emotional health without medication or surgery. It uses ExoTMS, an advanced form of transcranial magnetic stimulation, to deliver targeted magnetic pulses to areas of the brain involved in mood regulation, executive function, emotional control and cognitive clarity.

Think of it like a training signal for the brain. Your brain works through electrical and chemical communication, and when certain pathways become underactive or poorly regulated, it can show up as poor focus, emotional reactivity, stress sensitivity, cravings, low motivation, brain fog or disrupted sleep. Exomind is designed to stimulate those circuits and support neuroplasticity, which is the brain's ability to form, strengthen and reorganise its connections.

Each stimulation session lasts 24 minutes. You will be sitting or lying on a chair or couch, relaxed. There is no pain, just a gentle buzzing sensation.

The device itself is FDA-cleared in the US for specific clinical protocols. That clearance is the manufacturer's, and it is not what this case study is testing. In this programme I am using it as part of a case study: I am measuring how your biology responds. I am not promising you an outcome, because that is not how I work. I test, I do not guess.

On the day.

What a single session actually looks like, from walking in to walking back out.

Step 01

You arrive

In person on London's Harley Street. Every session, you and me.

Step 02

You sit down

The device is positioned over your head. Nothing is injected, nothing is swallowed, nothing is cut.

Step 03

24 minutes

Targeted magnetic pulses to the areas involved in mood regulation, executive function, emotional control and cognitive clarity. No pain, just a gentle buzzing sensation.

Step 04

Then we talk

Your check-in with me. We look at what your wearable, your sleep and your recovery have been doing since the last session.

Step 05

You leave

No downtime is required. You carry on with your day.

There are medical reasons this kind of stimulation is not suitable for some people. That is what the screening questionnaire is for, and it is why I check before I accept anyone. If you are under medical care or taking regular medication, tell me when you apply and we will look at suitability properly.

The whole path, step by step.

Six sessions of brain stimulation sit in the middle of this. Around them sits the measurement, and that is the part most people have never had. From your first email to the day I read your results with you, the whole programme runs 6 to 10 weeks.

01You apply

You email me

A few lines to dralka@dralkapatel.com, saying you are interested and telling me about the aspect of your brain health you most want to improve and why.

Curiosity, no commitment
02Screening

The screening questionnaire

I send you a short questionnaire covering eligibility, suitability and your health background. The fee is confirmed in writing here, before anything is booked.

You learn whether you meet the criteria, and exactly what taking part costs, before you spend anything.
No commitment
03Selection

Next stage of case selection, then you decide

If you meet the criteria and safety eligibility, I offer you a place. You receive a payment link to secure your place with times and dates confirmed to suit you.

I confirm your eligibility, you confirm your commitment.
Either of us can say no
04Baseline

We measure first

You receive two test kits at home to be done before your first brain stimulation session. A biological age test, which is a finger-prick blood test, and a cortisol rhythm test, which is a saliva test, both done across one 24-hour day. Your HRV wearable provides continuous data.

You learn where your biology actually sits today, in numbers, rather than in impressions.
05The sessions

Six Exomind sessions, and six check-ins with me

60 minute session. 30 minutes with Exomind stimulation. 30 minutes with me. Memory and attention testing alternate weeks. We discuss your health, habits and highest priorities. We read your numbers together as they come in.

Memory and attention checked on alternate weeks, so your cognition is tracked as it moves, not just at the start and end.

You learn what your own data is doing while it is doing it, session by session, with me in the room.
06Repeat testing

We measure you again

The same biological age test and the same cortisol rhythm test, repeated after the Exomind course on the same method as your baseline. Memory testing completes across the programme, three tests in total.

You learn whether the change you sense is measurable, on the same method, rather than a feeling about a good week.
07Your results

I sit down and interpret it with you

Week 10. A review of all your results and changes. What you have noticed, what the measurements tell us. What to do next.

You learn what moved and what this means.

Your stress hormone, mapped across a whole day.

A single cortisol reading tells you almost nothing. The rhythm tells you a great deal. So the test is not one sample. It is saliva collected at four points across a 24-hour period, at home, on a normal day. That maps the curve: where it rises, where it should fall, and where yours is doing something else.

We do it before the six sessions and again after, on the same method. Then we sit down and I tell you what changed and what I think it means for you.

Cortisol is not just a stress hormone. It is your wake-up, focus, energy and adaptation hormone. The pattern matters as much as the level.

The other three things we measure.

Alongside your cortisol rhythm sit three more measurements. These are illustrations of the report format, so you can see what a personalised interpretation physically means. They are not anyone's result.

Biological age
Illustration

A finger-prick blood test, done at home. Two of them, one before and one after, on the same method. It places your biological age against your real age, and against an optimal range.

Memory and focus
Illustration

An objective memory and attention test, repeated three times across the programme on alternate weeks. It tracks short, working and visual memory, learning, recognition and verbal memory, so progress is measured rather than remembered.

HRV, sleep and recovery
Illustration

Your Oura, Whoop, Apple Watch or similar is already collecting this every night. In the programme it is reviewed with me throughout, rather than only on test day, so we see recovery moving between sessions.

What is included.

Seven things. Every one of them measured, and every result interpreted with you rather than handed over. That is the point of it being a case study.

2Tests

Biological age tests

One before, one after, on the same method, so we can see what actually moved.

2Tests

Cortisol rhythm tests

Your full 24-hour curve, before and after. The pattern, not a single number.

3Tests

Memory tests

Objective cognitive tracking through the programme, so it is not down to how you felt that week.

6Sessions

Exomind sessions

A 60 minute session each: 24 minutes of Exomind stimulation, then time with me. In person on London's Harley Street.

6Check-ins

Consultations with me

Six conversations with the doctor running the study. Not a coach, not a delegate.

1Ongoing

Wearable data review

Your Oura, Whoop, Apple Watch or similar numbers watched across the whole programme, not just on test day.

1At the end

Personalised interpretation of your results

What your numbers did, what I think it means for you specifically, and what I would do next. My reading of your data, written for you, and a conversation about it.
